Indie Breakdown/VS celebrates the creativity of indie comics through two exciting phases. In the Breakdown phase, we interview creators to gather power stats, abilities, and backstories of their characters, crafting concise breakdowns for fans to easily understand their strengths. In the VS phase, we host a Creator Clash where contestants challenge one another, presenting arguments for their character’s victory using the breakdowns as their guide. The season culminates in an Official Matchup, where a randomizer selects the final showdown, and we craft a dynamic short story to determine the ultimate victor. You can find all the contestants, their characters, battles, how to support them, and their websites right here on the Indie Breakdown website. Be sure to join our thriving Facebook group—the fastest-growing indie comic community on the platform—and connect with fans and creators like never before!
